time for some read after a while (Gray Mountain & Now And Forever)

it was wednesday and was a public holiday too. so i went to aeon with my brother to buy some stuff and i do have plans to go to popular though. went there the night before but couldn't find which way is to popular #lol penat aku jalan dari hujunh aeon ke hujung aeon (end to end concept duh)


sudahnya balik and decide that wednesday baru keluar lagi. seriously i can't even remember when was the last time i bought a book, i'd say cecelia ahern ps i love you is the last one hehe and lucky me, these two books gray mountain and now & forever were at special offer price.. hampir-hampir je aku nak beli semua yang ada kt situ hahaha

ini first time lah aku beli book written by danielle steel, bila google dia ni dah 60+ y/o pun. no wonder lah novel ni time duration dia around 80s something gitu. aku paling suka bila aku baca buku tu kan dia ada feeling macam tak sabar nak tahu next tu apa jadi. dia jadi rasa macam tengah tengok movie tau. tak tahulah kenapa director yang hebta-hebat kt luar sana tu tak adapt a movie from this novel. memang best giler kot.


novel ni pasal a married couple, bila si husband, ian was accused to rape a lower class woman. bila lawyer diorang siasat rupanya, si husband ni muka dia sama dengan ex-husband pempuan (margaret) tu. kononnya dia nak balas dendam la, kebetulan pulak muka si ian ni sama dengan ex-husband margaret, drive pun kereta yang sama and from upper class men la jugak.


tapi sebab diorg tak cukup bukti and cousin margaret ni pulak takut nak jadi saksi diorg, ian kalah kes tu and kena jail. macam-macalah dugaan diorg time ni, sampai wife ian, jessie dah lost hope to wait for ian.. and nyaris jugaklah dia tak curang dengan lelaki lain.


and as for gray mountain ni pulak, aku baru start baca, this will be the fifth book by john grisham yang aku baca. honestly he is my fave author. first novel dia yang aku baca a time to kill. ada adapt jadi movie, sandra bullock yang berlakon dalam movie tu.


gray mountain ni pulak pasal time tu obama baru naik jadi presiden and us economy tengah merosot so banyak orang yang kena buang kerja including diorg yang kerja kt big firm. samantha wasn't given a choice when she was furloughed from s&p firm and have to do an internship for a year and they wound't pay her. setahun ok. korang kalau pergi buat internship 3 bulan free pun tak nak kan. aku pun tak nak buat kerja free.


tapi itu syarat yang diorg letak kalau samantha nak masuk kerja balik kt firm s&p. tapi serious best walaupun aku baru baca half je. siapa yang minat cerita thriller bolehlah layan novel john grisham. satu novel baru dia dah released, the whistler tapi aku tengok mahal sangat sampai 100++, maybe sebab hard cover kot.


part paling best reading ni kan is you can travel anywhere you want without moving your two feet. you just sit there and your imagination will take you to the places you want to be.
