Goodreads challenge

Dah nak masuk tahun 2018, aku baru nak start join goodreads challenge. Actually kalau siapa yang rapat dengan aku, mestu tau yang aku suka baca buku from romance to thriller to rom-com but for fantasy, aku lagi prefer tengok kt movie. 

Target aku letak dalam 15 buah buku tapi so far aku baru baca 8 je kot +hurm untuk ps i love you & di hamparan shamrock, ku seru namamu ni just tambahan je. Dua buku ni lama dah aku beli and memang best repeat baca. 

Ps i love you tu favorite aku kalau travel memana naik train and as for di hamparan shamrock ku seru namamu memang paling best so far. True story. And writer ni orang batu gajah. Part yang shahrizal ni kena tahan penjara paling sedih sekali. Lepas tu masa dah berlalu banyak tahun pun dia belum graduate lagi. Yang ni korang kena beli baca sendiri. Serious memang best. 

Kaleidoscope

Wow it really stings my heart when Hilary finally revealed the truth that Arthur, her godfather was the reason why their father, Sam had killed their mother, Solange. It was because Solange told him she had an affair with their best friend, his own best friend since they were in army. And their youngest daughter, Megan was not his but Arthur's.

And on top of it all, Sam had blamed himself for killing the woman he loved. He asked Arthur to be his lawyer and he told everything Solange had told him and Arthur asked if he believed her and pretend as if he doesn't know anything and all Sam had said is she probably had said it out of anger and he was drunk and he shouldn't had killed the love of his life, it was never crossed his mind that what Solange had said was all true. 

And to make it worse, Arthur had even separated the Walker's sister only to reunite them 30 years later, when he was dying with the help of John Chapman. As said by Alexandra, the 2nd daughter, the sisters lives were like a kaleidoscope. One moment when you shake the ball the snow will fell into the right places and sometimes they don't. Poor Hilary had a bitter life while the other two had a wonderful adopted parents.

It was a very lovely fairy tale, when Sam and Arthur had first saw Solange in France, they both liked her but Sam was the only one who had the courage to get near her and they fell in love at the first sight. Sam went back to US and later prepare everything for Solange to come and be with him. 

Everything was good until Sam became a very famous Broadway actor and he can't handle the fame at a young age, that probably was the reason why he got involved into scandals with many of his lead actresses. 

I think I'm gonna starting my collection of Danielle Steel, I already have two now including Now & Forever.

time for some read after a while (Gray Mountain & Now And Forever)

it was wednesday and was a public holiday too. so i went to aeon with my brother to buy some stuff and i do have plans to go to popular though. went there the night before but couldn't find which way is to popular #lol penat aku jalan dari hujunh aeon ke hujung aeon (end to end concept duh)


sudahnya balik and decide that wednesday baru keluar lagi. seriously i can't even remember when was the last time i bought a book, i'd say cecelia ahern ps i love you is the last one hehe and lucky me, these two books gray mountain and now & forever were at special offer price.. hampir-hampir je aku nak beli semua yang ada kt situ hahaha

Books, reading and nerd or geek?

Semua orang ada hobby masing-masing and if you look to nowadays kids, I think most of them are rather spending their times on computer surfing social networks or paying computer games. Yeah, it's a nice activity too rather than hang out like a homeless kids. But why people who loves to read will be categorized as nerd?

Yup.. I have no idea why. Truth be told I used to be called geek when I'm eleven..

Why?

Cause I love to read.. hey tak baik tau panggil atau kutuk orang lain macam tu.. Since I kecil lagi, my dad dah terapkan sifat suka membaca dalam diri I.. Yup, most of people suka assume "yela, anak tunggal.. apa nak je mesti dapat".. you all are totally wrong tau. Disebabkan my dad lebih suka belikan colours, drawing book and take me to Perak State Library, buku dan Ririey Zaries memang tak dapat nak dipisahkan..

Kenapa Perak State Library?

Sebab jauh berbeza dengan library awam yang selalu kita pergi, ianya lebih secure & parents tak perlu nak risau kalau nak tinggalkan anak-anak diorg kt situ.. Sebab suasana macam berada di rumah... that's why I panggil private library.. Sekarang ni mungkin dah banyak berubah dari segi interior design.. I pun dah lama tak menjejak kaki ke dalam..

Baru-baru ni I ada beli sebuah novel, taklah baru sangat.. Adalah dalam sebulan macam tu, baca pun tak habis lagi tapi ceritanya sedih + kelakar + banyak pengajaran.. Sesuai sangat kalau nak release tension.. Bukan sekadar untuk hilangkan boring.. 

Tajuk je dah menenangkan jiwa

Dalam novel ni, penulis ceritakan liku-liku kehidupan selama bergelar student di Jordan dan dugaan demi dugaan untuk graduate.. Bayangkan, kita kat sini paling cepat pun 2 yrs dah grad tapi penulis ni kena tunggu sampai 8 tahun.. Kalau nak tahu kenapa, kenalah beli novel Di Hamparan Shamrock, Ku Seru Namamu..

P/S : Hanya luangkan sejam sehari untuk membaca, macam-macam ilmu boleh korang dapat.. so janganlah nak panggil book lovers ni geek, ulat buku or nerd.. Please have some respect..
